Sweet moment when Tea thanked Viki for being there for her....
Though, did I smell RC rewriting false history? Didn't they give Tea a sister during the whole Sykes crap, and didn't Tea say today she had no mother or sisters? |

ES and Flo rock together. I always enjoy Tea/Viki scenes. But it just creeps me out to hear Tea killing herself over unresolved feelings for the Podd. I just
cannot imagine what she could possibly feel for this guy or why she'd feel it, except perhaps for nostalgia's sake.
I think the drive-by rewrite heard 'round the world was that they turned her dead sister-in-law into her dead sister and got rid of all her brothers....in the middle of the frakkin story. Geez. Of all the lame-brained, fuckwitted things JFP ever did, that had to be the fuckwittedest. Edited to add that I'd love to think RC was restoring Tea's original family history, but it could be that her comment was just alluding to the fact that she had no living female family members to confide in...except Roseanne I suppose. Roseanne made it out of Llanview alive, didn't she?

But IA that it is hard to fathom what is driving Tea to be so conflicted about Todd...this version of him is (TSJ's version) IMO just not worthy of the
awesomeness of Tea Delgado.

Those scenes were very good indeed. I agree that it irritates me that she is so torn up over 'this' guy? Geez and her comment about being repulsed by
any guy that is interested in her?? Hmmm, does that mean R.J. too??..lol. Yeah one of JfPee's biggest blunders with Tea in 98-99 was rewriting her
backstory and changing her family.
If they had to change everything I wish they had gone with Tea giving a child up for adoption instead of an abortion. It opens the door for a future story. Like now, I think Langston would make a great daughter for Tea. Can you imagine what FL would do with that story? |

Especially with conflict between Tea and Dorian...Tea taking another Cramer woman's child from her...I like this idea. Now this is a good reason to do a backstory re-write. And it's been so long ago, most people wouldn't even know the difference. JFP just thought it was okay to do it in less than a year since the backstory was created. What was she thinking? |

I really don't know why TPTB chose the abortion route, when they did no follow up with it. It makes more sense for Tea to have given the child up for
adoption. They could always change it I guess. I think FL would have to be around for awhile to do a story like that, but I know it would rock. She could focus
on something other than Todd!

The way they're handing out children to vets, they can perfectly change the abortion to adoption. Nobody would notice except the very bitter B/ters. |
