And for one brief shining moment there was... no not Camelot (LOL) but the TnT I feel in love with and a Todd I recognized. TSJ surprised me, I didn't
think he had that half-tender, half-gruff, half-needy, part of Todd in his repetoire. He was good today, no he wasn't Roger who would have rocked those
scenes and likely had me crying... but there was depth today, there was a real nod to history and the dialogue was vintageTnT.
I was really wary of this episode spoilers, thinking oh no we'll get KDP's singing in middle of TnT sex yuck. But it didn't play that way at all.
I actually liked that Todd objected to Tea calling Blair a slut b/c best part I liked how little heat Todd displayed discussing Blair, it wasn't I hate that bitch so much underlying rage in denying his feelings. If anything it reminded me of 1998 Todd when he would roll his eyes at Blair/Tea bitching but he didn't have strong feelings for Blair, hate or love actually. I prefer him indifferent... and today felt like that Todd, yeah she's mother of my kids BUT if I was really into HER I would have gone to see her at Capricorn, and it's you I think of when I go to sleep and when I wake up and you're one I can't seem to live without.
Some great lines:

Tell me how you really feel about me.
The moment when I had to blink was that really my Todd on screen, running hands through hair in frustration, groaning in frustration as Tea got him to open up.
"Bitch" - said with tender smile and almost like endearment
"Bastard" - ditto right back at you, lover.
"But I really want to stay"
FL rocked, as always and she did a particularly good job of reining in the needy Tea side. I really respected Tea today, she wasn't begging for Todd's love, but making it crystal clear she wasn't going to be his side sex toy, though I think both FL/TSJ laughed outright at that stupid "booty call" exchange I could done without. And kudos to TSJ, he does play a Todd who can't stop caressing Tea, I loved the afterglow and PARTICULARLY enjoyed it was Todd who was one who wants "try something new."
