I saw a lot of vintage TnT with some of the dialogue. They were funny and sweet. Still not that hot on TSJ as Todd but he does have a charming quality about him. I have to admit I kept thinking how excited I would have been if RH and FL had been doing those scenes. Can you imagine? The only thing I didn't like about it was Tea's constant worring and asking about Blair. I had a SISP flashback there. WTH is Blair even an issue with her? If she wants Todd, go after him and take Blair...

My guess is the DD rumor of Todd and Blair making love and Tea walking in was a disgruntled you know who fan looking to stir up some shit on an anon board since Todd and Tea today were simply sensational and sexy. And you are so right about the way the story is to go and the ending depending on whether or not FL keeps extending the way she has been doing. I also agree with you regarding the reasoning behind Blair going off to find Ross and uncover Tea's secret. If Todd was sleeping...

Blair chasing down Ross screams a jealous, spiteful witch searching for something (besides her cootchie) to blow up Todd and Tea.

Granted, I haven't watche for very long and only caught up on his scenes with FL on Youtube, but I give props to TSJ today, he tried and for most part I think he delivered enough of a semblance of Todd that I lost myself in enjoying TnT, for at least a few minutes there. AND that is the first time for me with FL/TSJ as usually I just think of them as DODD, a couple with sparkling chemistry but not my Todd and Tea.

But WTF Todd sleeps with Blair in a few weeks? I honestly get...

Just like old times talking about Todd's motivations ;-) And yep, I'm ALWAYS wondering how RH would have played it - probably a whole lot more TORTURED and angsty and far less slam against window sexual ;-)

The dialogue reminded me of vintage TnT b/c it wasn't glib oh Todd's falling in love with Tea, that would have rang so false, heck it's why T&B never worked for me, it was just such a fakeness to Todd. No I always felt RH was spot on,...

And no it's not really the same way I felt for RH Todd and Tea, but I think TSJ and FL have a very good chemistry with each other. I liked the bantering back and forth and watching Todd struggle to verbalize what it is he feels for Tea. I thought the line that Blair said about love/hate going straight through the bedroom indicates that she is going to go after Todd with a big time seduction scene...I guess that is where the pool boy is going to come in...she's is going to try to get...

Honestly, it played ALOT better than I expected. I thought there were really wonderful parts to the scenes. I hate saying it but there were a couple of moments where I wondered what RH would have done with the dialogue, but TSJ was satisfactory and even good in some instances.

Here is the part that got me that you listed, Pilaring

For me, this is one of the most significant, intense and loving things...

Maybe b/c my expectations are soooooooooooo low with TSJ, any hint of subtle or layered emotions or anghst from him is so darn shocking, I eat it up... yep, my bar for TSJ is REALLY set LOW.

FL always delivers and especially enjoyed her Tea today, she didn't cross that line into desperate neediness which sometimes writers pen for her character. I liked how she didn't back down from Todd and didn't fall over him either when he admitted he went to sleep and woke up...

I must admit that it was better than I thought it would be. Still not TNT but it's not gagworthy, which from me is saying a whole lot. The bitch/bastard thing was cute. FL can make me like anything and that's a feat by itself. Love FL.

And for one brief shining moment there was... no not Camelot (LOL) but the TnT I feel in love with and a Todd I recognized. TSJ surprised me, I didn't think he had that half-tender, half-gruff, half-needy, part of Todd in his repetoire. He was good today, no he wasn't Roger who would have rocked those scenes and likely had me crying... but there was depth today, there was a real nod to history and the dialogue was vintageTnT.

I was really wary of this episode spoilers,...
