So I wasn't the only one wishing he'd just go ahead and jump. At first, I was like "Poor Todd. Marty's being really mean with this trick." But after awhile, his obtuseness and wimpiness was irritating and I found myself wishing Marty would just go ahead and push him off the roof to stop the whining and cowering.

That's it for me too. TsJ acting choice was way to passive for his charater being played. Not even a Toddian sneer. Trev, you are the STAR of this show, quit acting like a supporting actor.

You know, I CAN envision this entire story with realTodd. I can see that he's been really out of touch with reality. Yes, I could see the total slide from delusion to severe suicidal depression. But Todd would have ALWAYS shown fire when faced with such a depth of manipulation. I could have seen him react beyond harshly with Marty, THEN walked away and try to kill himself. And that fall off the roof was really stupid looking.

She was really great, and if it had been RH opposite her...it could have been powerful. I feel so bad for her because everytime she has a confrontational scene with TSJ it's like she's acting in a vacuum. I keep seeing comments elsewhere that they have such great chemistry, but I'm just not seeing it. They're mismatched in the same way he's mismatched with FL. I will say that in the little snippets of Marty's "captivity" that I watched on YouTube, TSJ was...

I could not freaking believe I heard that coming out of *Todd's* mouth. "Owwww"????? For real?

The *real* Todd Manning would've been 3 steps ahead of Marty or anyone else in Llanview, for that matter, and plotting to take them all down and then put it on the front page of The Sun!

A big part of the unbelievableness of it is the writing. Either RC is not the Todd fan he said he was or he is really writing this in the hopes that Roger comes back. I'll even go so far as to say in preperation for his return. I honestly can't believe that he is writing this as the real Todd Manning, not after being with the show as long as he has.

The show has written TSJ's version of Todd as whiny before, but never have I seen him this bad...it really is hard to care about this guy...I remember how upset I was when he jumped in the river after the cabin story with Rebecca...today I could care less...our gal looks good again tomorrow and I think she has "words" with Blair, so hopefully they will continue with Tea still being shown as the smart, feisty one, but who knows...the word on the street is that Blair gives Todd...

That was unbelievable. I'm so sorry - Real Todd would have pushed Marty off the roof. GMAFB!

I will say, SH was great. Against RH that would have been awesome. Mano-a-mano. And yes, the writing had a lot to do with it. But still, TSJ played it WAY TOO WIMPY.

i watched. and thought the same things, kel. the shrinking away thing actually made me sick. this isnt todd. or if it is, im hoping his face hit some rocks on the way down and he's in the hospital bandaged up...and when they remove the bandages...VIOLA! roger howarth as todd manning.

im still a bit of a hopeless hopeful.

I watched it in real time today and I think I have never cared less whether Todd lived or died. All I could say was, "Just jump. Please, put us all out of our misery and just jump already."

On the upside, at least it looks like the one T left with a spine is on tomorrow! Is it wrong to hope she doesn't try too hard to save him? Maybe he could just stay in a nice open-ended coma for a while? I think maybe if he was silent I might actually be able to stand him.

In no particular order, today the character formerly known as Todd Manning....

1. Was painfully stupid - to the point that Marty had to SPELL OUT she was playing him

2. Actually whined "owwww" when Marty slapped him.

3. Cowered and shrunk away from Marty, not looking at her, while she yelled at him.

4. Whined.

5. Flung himself off a roof because Marty asked him to.

And honestly, I can't even blame TsJ entirely because...
